Screen Shot of mail received from Google

Hell lots of things going around google these days. Couple of days back google hit some big blogger, penalized them by dropping their PageRank. Some of my favorite blog dropped by 1 or 2 points down. Forget about others google awarded me 3 out of 10.

But some one is trying to play with the security system at google. Yesterday shoemoney notified about a strange SPAM mail from Google. Strange thing is someone can really use the system for false search. Its very hard to believe.

A few days back i also received a mail from google asking to update some security information. As you can see in the picture its said my google account needs to verify. But the address at which it has been landed is not a google account its my POP e-mail (shanker@shankerbakshi.com) which been configured on gmail. Even mail threatens for suspension of account in case i do not update security information.
If i click the given link it will take me to following appellate.

Can i ask what this digitalwestex doing in between.

Anyway i have decided not to play with the above link, but seriously all these things raise so many big questions to be digg out. Are you willing to digg it more?

Which YOUNG INDIA you are talking about?

October 25, 2007 by Shanker Bakshi

Last night when I was watching MTV, in a program there was this girl, who came all the way from USA to visit this country of her dreams “INDIA. The girl was basically of Indian origin but living in states from years. She came to this country with so many assumptions about various things in her mind like about our great Indian rituals, our culture and very especially about the promising young INDIA. Much has been talked about Young India these days

But she said that she is not happy whatever she found about the Indian youth here. In her words “they says that Indian youth are making lots of changing in the society, they are the once who will make this country to a Super Power in year 2020, but yeah –I can’t see anything like that”

That is the truth we have to accept. Nothing will happen in year 2020. I want to be optimistic but what I see is enough speak in favor of me. Do you see any of revolution coming out from young bodies? We still accepting things as they are. Nothing has been changed from last five year and it will remain like that for the next ten years. Sorry for saying all this.

The present percentage of youth in the country is at 20% that mean rest of the population consist children and senior citizens. Naukri dot com reveals that last year 35000 senior citizens who were willing to do a job were registered with the portal. This year this number has been increased up to 200000. (Source NDTV)

In a democratic country things moved and triggered much thru a strong political willingness. But if you talk about present political scenario following are the wishful dreams of all the following 60 plus political leaders.

* 1924 born Atal Bihari Vajpayee still willing to lead BJP in the next election.* 1933 born Dev Gaoda still fighting for his Raj Path in Karnataka.* 1924 born Karunanidhi still not willing to leave Tamil Nadu for a young soul.

* 1927 born Prakash S Badal head a state known for its “GABRU JAWAN”

* 1938 born sheila Dikshit rule the capital city of this country

* 1916 born Harkishan Singh Sujeet still active in CPM with bang bang.

* 1927 born L K Advani wishing to lead BJP next term.

Where is YOUNG INDIA ? Which YOUNG INDIA you are talking about?

Irfan Khan with Archie Punjabi and Angelina Jolie in “A Mighty Heart”

I first notice him with this unconventional look on screen in late eighties in Star Best Seller a weekly soap of Star Plus. He was doing various theater and small roles for television at that time. One can see easily in his big eyes thousand of expressions comes one after. I bet with my brother that this man will go places. He proved me right. Today he is working for some celebrated bollywood and Hollywood directors.

Irfan Khan is a National School of Drama Graduate. After completing his graduation in 1987, he then turned toward acting for various television serials. One role by which he become the household named in India was in Nirja Gulariy’s Chandrakanta. Banegi Apni Baat and Darr were couple of other serial which earned him a good repute as an actor. But the things really clicked for him when he did a very small but very impressive cameo for Mira Nair Debut Salamal Bombay In 1988. This movie brought him into the bollywoodism. Another miles stone was achieved when London-based director Asif Kapadia gave him the lead in The Warrior, where he played a man who is transformed from a marauder to victim. This flick lator on won the BAFTA award for Best British movie in 2003.

In the same year came my favorite Maqbool, a Hindi adoption of Shakespeare famous novel Macbeth directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The movie was set on Bombay Based Underworld DON. Another movie which I want to talk about is Life in a METRO. Though he is not the part of mainstream story line of the movie but yeah he very much impressed with his unique style of dialogue deliver. Is he Comedy actors, Ha ha don’t even think anyone can beat him if he really try to make you laugh. Remember his HUTCH prepaid cards Commercials.

Now every one is talking about his astonishing acting skill in his Hollywood venture A Mighty Heart with Oscar award winning lady Angelina Jolie. This is second back to back performance for Hollywood. Previously to this he did a very sensitive role for his lucky lady Mira Nair in Namesake, which is also one of the biggest hits overseas.

Lets keep our finger corssed for his upcoming ventures The Darjeeling Limited, Rakesh Omprakahs mehra Delhi 6 and partition.

Jaago India -Changing face of Indian TV Commercials

October 19, 2007 by Shanker Bakshi

I would like to draw your attention on this changing tone of television advertising in India .In fact the change in our society is what reflecting in these commercial.

I am taking the example of two new commercial. Both these advertisements are chatting about the social awakening.

One is of Dish TV in which Bollywood King Khan SRK is insisting Indian not to be Satisfied (Santusht) with everything going around on us, whether it is rough roads, dirty water, pollutions or to be more precise about which they want make a point is the jagged quality of cable television broadcasting. Yes we should not.

The other one is of TATA Tea. Jaago Re Campaign, which kick start across the country from October 1, 2007. The new campaign leverages the unique position that tea enjoys in our culture and attempts to migrate tea from being a physical and emotional revitaliser to becoming a catalyst for “social awakening.

It says in the end Har Subah Sirf Utho Mat, Jaago Re.

Today’s young India is now in very much of revolutionary mood, which is off course sparking in our most of the bollywood movies and now turn towards Television commercial Well I like the spirit in both commercial. How you found them?

SRK in Dish TV ad – Please don’t be SANTUSHT

Congress wants Ruling Power not the Nuclear Power

October 18, 2007 by Shanker Bakshi

Last couples of weeks were very tough for the present government in India. Tussle were going on between Left parties and ruling congress government. The seen was bad bad because this government is running with the support of left parties. These lefties threaten government to withdraw their support if the government is delightful to sign the Nuclear Power Deal with USA. The nation was about to bear another election in case both parties continue with their wrestle mania. But after so many meetings, discussions and conferences congress party decide that it will love to rule the nation rather then going for this BIG DEAL.

It was just like a snowstorm came and gone over but half of the people in the country were keep asking hey what the hell this 123 agreement is all about. Thanks god that I have this friend of mine Rajesh Kumar with that intelligent, sharp and intellectual expert brain to explain these difficult terms like ABC. If you are the one who was struggling to know the basic of this deal then I am sure you must read carefully what he is explaining about 123 agreement here:

Why it is called 123 agreements?

The President of the USA announced on July 1.8, 2005, that he would “work to achieve full civil nuclear energy cooperation with India and seek agreement from congress to adjust U.S laws and polices”. The adjustment word of the President finger out towards the section 123 a. (2) of the Atomic Energy Act 1954 (AEA) of the USA. Because this section along with other two section 128 and 129 restrict the nuclear cooperation with India. To waive of the relevant restricted provision of the AEA Section 123 a. (2), 128 and 129, the House and senate agreed to the conference report. Finally the President signed the bill into law on December 18, 2006.

Is it beneficial for India?

• India would have High-tech collaboration not just with the USA but also with France, Germany, Japan, Russia and South East Asia.

It would open the floodgates on dual-use technology’ transfer.

It would deepen the technology relationship and commercially benefit both countries.

India would be producing around 30000 MW from nuclear sources by 2020 i.e. about eight times our current 4000 M W.

At present how many countries are in nuclear energy?

At present 31 countries generate nuclear power; in India nuclear power contributes nearly 3 % to the total electricity generation. The France generates 79 %, Belgium 60%, Japan 31 %, USA 21% and UK 20%.

Why the left parties oppose the Indo-US nuclear deal?

The CPI (M), CPI, RSP and AIFB categorically stated that the nuclear deal with the USA is against the interest of the India. They further warn that those who advocate the deal should know that India is capable of developing nuclear energy primarily on a self reliable basis. Some other concerns are about certification by the US president every year, which is now termed as annual reporting.

How far India from the final deal?

No where, India has not climbed even first step i.e. the cooperation agreement which both the countries has to finalize. India has to satisfy the International A-tomic Energy Agency (lAEA) for the safe use of the nuclear technology. The safeguard must be negotiating between India and IAEA officials. The IAEA is responsible for the safe, secure and peaceful use of the nuclear technology. Next India has to talk with the nuclear supplier Group (NSG). The nuclear supplier groups (NSO) consist of 45 countries, which must agree to supply the nuclear materials, equipment and technology. The NSG have very stringent guidelines.
Finally US congress must approve the text of the 123 agreement.

The Final Words.

The Indian Government wants to live, hence deal is dead. The Govt. have been perusing the deal rigorously, but suddenly the UPA chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh declare that Government’s remaining tenor is more important then the deal.

You are wrong Mr. Bachchan, Raise your finger towards them, Right now

October 15, 2007 by Shanker Bakshi

I have recently seen Abhishek Bachchan in a much talked about campaign of Times of Indias LEAD INDIA. He is stressing that we should not point out our fingers on others on what they are doing for this country? Rather we should put that finger towards us –What we are doing for our nation? But I am not agree with you Mr. Abhishek Bachchan.

Would anybody come up and tell me why we can not put our fingers toward our others like on our darling “national leaders” and why can’t I ask them what the hell they are doing for this country. I would rather like to push that finger …??, if they will not be 100% transparent and avoid my questions.

The biggest problem of this country is that no body is accountable for his/her acts. People should look at it. They should raise the question. Annoyed Sheila Dikshit is appealing media not to pressurize her on Blueline Bus Issue. Madam, if after killing of so many people you still not found any answer to the problem then media or Aam Janta Will certainly pressurize you. Pressurize till you found the suitable solution or surrender your seat for someone who is more intelligent then you.

We must not forget that for the development of our nation these good for nothing leaders are primarily responsible. Now you will raise the question that who send them in our parliament? The answer is – yes I send them in parliament, because I cannot opt for NO VOTE and there was never any good option for me in the election fight. But can someone tell me if you found a person criminal, would you like to hang his father who gave birth to that dirty fellow. If yes, then hang me, I send them in parliament. I want to make the face of my parliament young energetic and vibrant, but for this I need national parties like Congress, BJP or CPM to give me young dynamic leaders to vote.

The whole system is Stuck, Sucking my soul, I would not tolerate if someone want me not to point out my fingers on them and ask; what you are doing Mr. Dirty?

If Abhishek Bachchan wants me not to raise my fingers on other then I would like to say that he is speaking all this on behalf of this futile government of ours. He is representing Sheila Dikshit; shut up and see what you are doing for your country? Hell ya !!!

So I would like to call the entire public raise as many fingers as you can on these politician bureaucrats, sportsmen, media, administrators, industrialist and on any one for that matter who’s accountability you want.

Raise your finger towards them, Right now.

I wonder how my two year son Aditya recognized few faces on television. One is of Navjot Singh Siddu and the other one is of Dhan Tanan please welcome Mr. Bean

Well I will write about Navjot Singh Siddu some other time but this time I wanna talk about this amazing guy Mr. Bean. Am totally impressed with this man. I like two shows of Pogo TV which I see for my son’s wish Takeshi’s Castle and Mr. Bean. To Make anyone laugh is very difficult and that too without saying any word just thru your Act, The Act of Class. I have Mr. Beans DVD; I have seen the entire 14 Episode of Mr. Bean many times but still like to watch whenever they are on.

It’s very hard to believe that only 14 half-hour episodes of Mr. Bean were made during 1990 to 1995 which rock half of the world still rocking isn’t. So Mr. Bean is a character who’s life on screen was made of only seven hours but he keep on living on and on from years. The character of Mr. Bean was first developed when Rowan Atkinson was studying for his PhD at Oxford University; it was written by Rowan Atkinson, Robin Driscoll, Richard Curtis and Ben Elton. The self-titled first episode was broadcast on 1 January 1990, with the final episode, “Goodnight, Mr. Bean”, on 31 October 1995. This has allowed the series to be sold worldwide without any significant changes to dialogue. During its five-year run the series gained large UK audience figures, including 18.74 million for the 1992 episode “The Trouble with Mr. Bean”,

Rowan Atkinson
Mr. Bean played by Rowan Atkinson (Sound difficult to pronounce for Indian Children Fans). Rowan born on 06 January 1955 in Consett, County Durham, United Kingdom. Atkinson’s film career began in 1983 with a supporting part in the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again and a leading role in Dead on Time with Nigel Hawthorne. Atkinson married Sunetra Sastry (This one sounds like an Indian Name) in 1990, having met her professionally on the set of Blackadder. The couple has two children, Lily and Benjamin, and lives in the Oxfordshire village of Waterperry. With an estimated wealth of £100 million, Atkinson has passion for cars

Teddy
