Sukhwinder Singh is Back

Have you seen this guy performing LIVE! Well he is among very few bollywood singer who sings live on stage, yes absolutely live during his concerts. But what others singer does, they actually play their songs CD and just lip sing on the beat. But this man sings live.
Once I witnessed him performing on stage in Chandigarh during rose festival, I guess it was back in Feb 2002 and it was sheer pleasure of mine watching him singing and dancing There is no doubt on his singing ability that’s way he is the permanent member of music maestro A R Rehman’s musical troops. He had sung various super duper hit songs for him.
He was quite off from music scene of bollywood from last few months but now he is come back with the bang with two smashing hit song back to back for king khan Shah Rukh. Title track Chak de India and now Dard de Disco are hitting music stores and are top chart busters.
He is on bollywood music scene from last two decade, initially struggled a lot but when A R Rehman used his high pitch signing style there is no looking back for this man from then. Every other music then tested his voice but most of his best work is with A R R.
There are so many other singers now signing for bollywood in the same high scale. It went on with A R Rehman’s Vande Matram Later on followed by Sukhwinder Singh then KK and now with Kunal Ganajawala and Kailash Kher. Pakistani Singers added high picth flaver with some good singing of Jal, Junoon and Asif Atish. Singer Himesh Reshammiya also claimed in the beginning that he is a singer of high pitch singer’s genre. Now everyone knows it’s a nasal singing.
My favorite sukhwinder singh song is Titli dabooch li maine from movie Gazagamini directed by ace painter M F Husain.
