ENOUGH is ENOUGH for Sania Mirza

Asia’s No. 1 tennis player Sania Mirza will not play tennis in India. That’s her final answer to various controversies she is surrounded with all the time Criticism, pulling legs, pointing fingers on other, condemnation and denigration of others is in our blood. We Indian knows hundred ways how to discourage someone with a desire to conquer. This is my personal opinion so don’t mind if you have different thought about it. But believe me we are like this only.

She explain her decision as;

Every time I play in India, there is a problem, considering all that, I thought it would be better not to play at Bangalore, In fact, I feel it would be better if I don’t play in the country for some time. “Playing in India is not as important for me as playing for India”  she clarified.˜I”ve never shirked the responsibility of playing for the country even when I was injured.

Now look at the controversies

Muslim clerics issue fatwa against Sania’s dress code during matches
Uproar over shooting of an ad on the premises of Mecca Masjid, Hyderabad
A lawyer files a case after Sania is caught on camera watching a match putting her feet in front of the tricolor
Sania is accused of supporting pre-marital sex, at a conference. Later, she claims she was misquoted

Okay considering all these , would you think her decision not to play tennis in India is right or wrong.

  1. Shanker, you should have written this article in two parts. Okay, you have hit the nail hard and I sincerely hope people understand what you are trying to say.

Eh…. why am I commenting??? To be on the top commentator list?? As you say, don’t comment when there is nothing to comment…… oh no.. he..he..

  2. lol.
But I love commenting for traffic. :)

  3. I’ll kill you later. Honestly, I don’t like comments like, “hi, just dropping by, how are you” and “have a tag for you”. But what can I do? Grrr! The worse thing I’d done was to delete a comment on my blog, well, it’s not actually a comment but an answer to a question I asked in my comment. And that blogger posted her reply on my blog that had absolutely nothing to do with my post. She should at least post the answer under my comment on her blog! Am I rude to have done this. I guess not. Some people just don’t understand the concept of blogging, it’s irritating sometimes.

  4. Who Was “she”? ” :-)

  5. A name that starts with R. It will be indiscreet if I write the exact name here. Anyway, she’s nowhere around now, i think. :-)

  6. totally know where your coming from, some mornings have been ruined by one bad stupid comment.

Only comment when you are interested!

  7. I totally agreed and understand your post. Great points.

Why? I was a victim when some people tried to topple me of the top commentator list of a blog and subsequently, I was being penalized by google and ban from the blog.

  8. Hey nice post. Link back please!
    :P Just joking!

We all love comments as a lot of blogs have pointed out. But we seriously hate it when people just drop by to ask for link exchange… duh.. I have a chatbox.

I love the interaction with my readers through comments. I hope to earn their daily loyal visits by writing better posts!

    Good luck!

  9. I think you can tell when someone is being sincere with their comments, just by the way they structure their words and sentences.
There are some good tips from this post, thanks.

  10. I love to read people’s comment on my blog, but I would still prefer to read comments that are related to the post and not just to say hi, you’ve been tagged, or asking for link exchange, as I have a separate chatbox for that. But if they would comment on the post first, then I wouldn’t mind. :)

  11. I really didn’t like this post.

    I really love this post.

Yeah. I have very little to say.
