I think blaming google street view for an increase in burglaries is just blind paranoia towards technology. Additionally, any average joe could swing by your house and take a photo of it from outside and post it on their blog. I find nothing wrong with that. Obviously Google is doing it on a massive scale but I don't think I could draw a distinctive enough line between the two.
