…it is nothing but digitally recording your thoughts as and when you feel like doing it, sharing it online for all earthlings to read, comment and spam the space.

It was a pretty simple thing until a bunch of pros, shoes, chows and cows built a business model around it! These days it is a very complicated thing to become a successful blogger because you bite the dust if you are not technically good and/or blindly follow one of those specimens who started making money out of blogging. Also technical pieces like WordPress, SEO etc made blogging look like rocket science that even NASA scientist would hesitate to attempt a WordPress upgrade as they are not sure about the outcome. These days WordPress releases come out every other week or so and that’s another topic to write about for most bloggers.

One of the funny things about blogging is that you don’t necessarily need to be very good at any language to get started with blogging. Blogging these days is a mechanism for kids to dream of becoming rich even before they stop having breast milk and before even passing out of the school. Many of these kids call themselves Online Entrepreneurs though they cannot even spell that word. For youngsters it is a mechanism to enjoy life doing nothing though they may be qualified enough to earn money offline via a good regular job. For the retired, it is a mechanism to earn a 30 cents AdSense click per day (and they call it free) though they have $2 mn in their retiral benefits account.

Most bloggers have a common early morning dream of becoming a Beach bum making $23700 from laptop!
