WARNING!!! Before you read this post, let me tell you that it may distract you from your regular routine busniness and you may misdirected to something else to what actually you were doing. One more warning, don’t Google the name ‘ Frank Kern” now, you will get so many mysterious things popping up before your eye balls which may again distract you from what you have plan for the day, One last warning, don’t search for for any video of Frank Kern on Your Tube, the reason is again the same, you will be trapped with Frank Kern magic and end up with more curiosity to know more about the guy.

On February 1st, 2008 Frank Kern released a very much anticipated Mass Control Marketing ebook that cost $3000. What was amazing about this product to cost this much? Was Mass Control Marketing really worth the money or junks that is marketed with too much hype ? To answer this question, let us check who is Frank Kern and what’s his achievement in Internet Marketing

He’s probably the most in demand, expensive, and IMPOSSIBLE-to-get marketers on the planet. He’s the guy who did the marketing for the first Stompernet Launch …and that did over $18 million in 24 hours. (He wrote the emails, the sales letter, and did scripting on the famous videos.) .And one time just for fun, he did the marketing for a dating product that did $1.4 million in just four hours.

If you are not familiar with the name Frank Kern its understandable because Frank Kern kind of vanish from internet Market arena a few years back. Why did Frank Kern vanish from internet marketing world? In early 2000 he created his first internet marketing product called Instant Internet Empires and it became huge success, selling thousand of copies.

Thats how frank become famous and one of the most in-demand teacher on marketing, unfortunately for frank, the Federal Government also took notice the business. In 2003 FTC sue Frank Kern for all of his worth because they said he did not have a proper disclaimer on his site for instant internet Empires. Frank Kern lost everything to the FTC and had to find a new way to make money online.

Do You Believe These Overnight Success Formulas are Scams?

In one of my post last week I talked to some big boys of affiliate marketing in my series on how to get started in affiliate marketing, Shawn Collin the man who co-founded Affiliate Summit gave us the million dollar advice that “be Patient -You won’t be an overnight success” . This is Very true, as there are no short cuts to success.

But then there are live examples before us like;

John Reese who pulled up in less then 24 hours on 17th April 2004 over $1,000,000 through affiliate marketing that too without spending a single dollar on traditional advertising. phew!!!
Super Affiliate Zac Johnson made $860,538.38 in just four months.
Or who can forget Jeremy’ Schoemaker’s most popular image with a Adsense check of $132,994.97 of a month’s earning.

These are real stories, believe it or not sort of

Too Good to be True

These are some real life examples, what you initial see is seems to be a man’s overnight success but we must not forget that he may be trying and working hard for this accomplishment from many years. As I told you before there are no short cuts to success. The results on a single day may be the outcome of several years’ hard work and dedications.

People like to listen to these stories

So whenever big affiliates pitch a particular product they always come up with these sort of stories which sometime seems to be too good to be true. Some time we got to know somehow that lots of these claims are sort of smoke and mirrors still we respond to these sales letters with almost outlandish claims.

Sometime you know its not true, you know it but still you click on mails with these sort of subject headlines, the reason is simple we always love to hear these sort of stories, be honest in telling me that you always dream about a day when suddenly your bank account flood up with millions of dollars, you log into your account and found that millions of dollars has been generated and poured into your bank account while you were sleeping last night. well you can’t do much about it, its human nature, so that’s why these sales letters and landing pages are designed to show you what you really like to see for yourself.

You believe that you can not be fooled by these attracted headline but be honest in telling me that most of the time you respond to these sort of appeals and claims.

Do you believe these unrealistic claims are scams?

Don’t ask me, I never fallen prey to any such scam yet. [Touch wood] but there are people who come up with stories like they washed-out huge money to a fake claim and got nothing in return against what have been promised to them.

How to Get Started in Affiliate Marketing-Part IV -Expert Advise

Asta Lavista Baby !! and I am back again, okay we were doing a series on affiliate marketing right? Lets dive into the fourth part of this series today, as I promised in my previous post of this series that I will be talking to some great affiliates to get their first hand expert advice but before reading what they says for all those who missed out the first three parts of this series here are the links;

A newbie affiliate marketer always asked few things about it before getting started, so it will be a better idea to sort out those quarries in FAQ style.

Q. Do I really need to create products for entering into affiliate marketing business?

No, you don’t need to, all you have to do is to register yourself with some merchants, service providers or affiliate networks and choose the product of your interest 0r which you think is potential for promoting; using various tools and methods which have been explained in earlier posts of this series.

Q. Do I need to invert some money to get started in affiliate marketing?

I will not say that affiliate marketing costs nothing as everything has an opportunity costs, but for jumping into affiliate marketing you don’t need to sell your house, don’t even need a website or blog for that matter. here is the of bare minimum cost that require to spent

If you wish to promote affiliate products through a static website or blog – the cost for a domain name registration and hosting charges which comes to approx $100 ($10 for domain + approx $90 for hosting space ). You can cut down this cost if you go for a cheap web host but I will advise you not to do that, here is the reason why.
If you wish to promote your affiliate marketing products with email campaign promotion all you need to spend is the email marketing service cost. here is comparison of Top Ten email marketing service provider.
If you promote product through Social networking sites then you already know that social networking sites like twitter and facebook cost nothing but eats lots of your time
Forum posting cost nothing but some forums need you to pay membership fee before posting affiliate promotion threads.
If you really want to do big in affiliate marketing and eyeing at PPC marketing for your affiliate products then surely you need to spend a good amount to get started. People blow up a part of their hard earned investment in learning it so its not advisable to go for PPC until you learn the art of doing it.

Enough of my guide on Affiliate Marketing lets now take the advice from big boys of Affiliate Marketings, I asked them what advice they want to give to a newbie affiliate marketer? listen carefully to their million dollar advice on this question;

You can also pose your questions on some industry blogs, post a question on FB or Linked in. If all else fails, you can even hit me up. Most importantly, get started

Do not program jump Do not take on more than you can handle Stay focused and committed build a list wear deoderant, well the last one is joke :-)
	Ian Fernando - An internet marketer, affiliate marketer and just released his premium training course on Facebbok Ads, he has been advertising online for over 4 years, his bold ideas and strategic thinking makes puts him where he is today.	dive in and do it. that is the biggest mistake a lot of people don't do. Most are concious they are going ot lose money and you will. But you never lose because you have data to look at. Like Mythbusters says, Failure is ALWAYS an option.
	Ajith Prasad Edassery - He has been into online writing and publishing since 1998 and has created several websites and blogs since then. He do make money via PPC advertising, which according to him is less intrusive but sometimes expensive for beginners.	My advice would be to focus on those products that work well for your niche and that too only a few (3 to 4) products to start with. Just because certain products might offer higher CPA doesn't mean that those are the ones for you. Another important thing is to use your blog to the fullest to sell more. In my opinion, writing a valuable review post and SEO optimizing it to push to Google front page does a lot more conversion than trying email marketing or social media overkill. And best of all, this method is less intrusive. Hence newbies should use their blog as the very first affiliate channel.
	Zubin Kutar -An Internet Entrepreneur and a professional Web Marketer started his blog WebTrafficROI in June 2008 where he share his experiences and insights on Bloggng & Internet Marketing.	If you want to make money via affiliate marketing I would recommend you to choose 3 - 4 niches and drive traffic to your landing page using a mix of traffic from PPC , article marketing, Squidoo pages etc. Invest some money initially in driving traffic, you'll recover the investment once you know which of the niches is doing well. Once you know the niche that does well, concentrate on that niche to bring targeted traffic.
